Visual identity and marketing activities for professional children’s animator

The client is a children’s animator for preschool and early school-age kids. Her main programs include magical tricks and theatrical performances that engage children in play. She continually expands her offerings with new attractions.

Current state and needs

Local business; the client lacks any printed materials or a website describing her business profile. She relies mainly on word of mouth for acquiring clients. She would like to create a simple business card website to make it easier for people to find her online (currently only has a private social media profile) and print simple business cards and flyers to distribute to interested individuals.

At present, her primary sources of income are invitations to birthday parties for friends’ children and collaboration with a local preschool. She aims to increase her client base for financial stability, preferably establishing long-term relationships in the B2B segment.

Main goals:
  • Create a simple website.
  • Design and print business cards and flyers.
Biggest challenges:
  • Very limited budget.
  • Lack of visual identity.
  • No transparent list of services and pricing – all services were previously individually priced.
  • Prefers a website that doesn’t need regular content updates as it is too difficult and time-consuming.
Facilitators for a good start:
  • Extensive network of contacts.
  • Many positive recommendations.
  • Low competition in the market.
  • Affordable and negotiable service prices.

For our client we have done:

Logo:
A logo was needed to serve as a foundation for the visual aspects of the website and printed materials. To save on the budget, a simple text consisting of the animator’s name and a catchy slogan was chosen, using a unique but readable font associated with fun. The logo will serve as a basis for a professional logo in the future.

Professional photoshoot:
A local freelancer was found within a reasonable budget to conduct a small but professional photoshoot. High-quality photos helped emphasize the professionalism of the animator and showcase the range of services.

Printed materials:
Since time was saved on creating the logo, the graphic designer agreed to create business cards, simple flyers, posters, and a large advertising banner within a single budget package.

With the help of the animator’s extensive network, posters were hung for free or at symbolic amounts in various places in the city, and the banner was placed in her garden. These efforts made her more recognizable in the local community.

Simple business card website:
A straightforward website was created with a list of services, a price list, contact information, and a lead collection form (mainly for long-term B2B collaborations). A cost-effective and sufficient CMS template was used, which also featured an easy-to-use admin panel for easy content editing, leaving room for potential future changes.

Recognizing that no advertising actions would be taken in the coming months due to budget constraints, special attention was paid to optimizing the website for SEO so that it could appear high in search results for key phrases.

Positive reviews were prominently displayed to highlight the animator’s rich professional experience and encourage further collaboration.

Outcomes for the Client:

Acquisition of new B2C clients:
Distribution of printed materials and a large banner significantly increased inquiries from potential clients in the immediate area, beyond the animator’s acquaintances.

Acquisition of new B2B clients:
A professional online portfolio and increased visibility on the internet authenticated the animator’s business, allowing her to confidently present her services to local nurseries, preschools, cultural centers, etc.

Solid foundation for future advertising:
In a small budget, a solid foundation was established for future advertising efforts. The actions taken so far have allowed the animator to build her image as a specialist in the industry, attract new clients, and consider investing in brand lifting and other advertising activities in the future when the need arises.ctive communication strategies.
